I am going wireless at 144Mbps to the router, then USB 2 from the router to the NAS (which is arguably 420Mbps). By my calculations, moving that amount of data at 144Mbps would be at full throttle (which granted you never get) take about 3.5 hours. For testing purposes to rule out the wireless aspect, I went direct wired to the router at 100Mbps (my laptop does not do GigE, although the router does) with no significant change.</p> <p>Over a 24 hour period it has backed up 0.9% and the network connection percentage in task manager floats from 0% to 1%, with a rare occasional spike to 5%, which may not be Rebit anyway. At this rate it would take over 3 months for the initial backup, and since I am on the 30 day trial, I would never even be able to evaluate the software.
