I feel that Rebit has thrown its best customers under the bus. There's no upgrade from 6-PC Rebit SaveMe...and no explanation of how they expect us to migrate. I don't have time to read through this entire forum...but I have nothing but unanswered questions. A biggie: Is the data stored by SaveMe compatible with Rebit 5 or do I have to erase everything and start from scratch? Rebit's continuing policy of not producing reasonable documentation for their products will ultimately lead to their demise...no matter how good they may be. It's just a matter of time.

Rebit is constantly asking me to update. the message is available version 5.0.1035.10670 -current version 5.0.1035.10828.

The first problem is language: to me this means I already have the latest version.

Then, when I run the update, to version 10828, the update runs, I restart my computer and I am asked to run the update. Again.

To make it really annoying, the application also does not work - it isn't discovering drives to back up nor drives to back up to. None of the other functions are working either.

Suggestions welcome.

I installed the new software 5, but for 2 days it says it is not able to back up because I have not configured any backup drives. After 2 days of configuring the Rebit drive that I have connected, I keep receiving this message. The Rebit drive worked great with the previous software, but version 5 is not working.

I purchased and have been using SaveMe Express for over a year now, I believe I had the disk shipped to me. I just purchased version 5 with disk order number 1232566135. I can't find my activation code because I can't find my old disk, what can I do? Will you please look it up for me and send it to me by e-mail?
Thanks!

The latest software update is available. Rebit software versions 3.0.258.7905 and 3.0.259.7905 are now available.

Simply right-click the small Rebit icon in the lower right corner of the screen and select "Check for Update" to apply the update.

If you have Rebit version 5181, or 5424, (right-click the Rebit tray icon, select "About") you will need to download and install the following registry keys in order to complete the update. Simply download the Single PC Key, or the Multi PC Key according to the Rebit software that you have. If you have a 64 - Bit version of XP, Vista or Windows 7, please use these keys instead: Single PC Key - 64 Bit, or the Multi PC Key - 64 Bit. Rename the .txt file to .reg. Double-click on the keys once you have downloaded them to import them into your registry. Vista users will need to Allow when prompted by the UAC. Now right click on the Rebit tray icon again and select "Check for Update". This should now find the new software and update your installation.

Alternately, versions of Rebit software prior to 3.0.258.5181 (right-click the Rebit tray icon, select "About") will need to be reset. Visit this page for steps to reset and reinstall the Rebit software.

I have the latest version of MultiPC RebitSW (the older version of your product) installed:
3.0.259.7905

But the latest version of the bootable recovery ISO I downloaded from you and created for this is: RebitRecoveryCD-5646.ISO

Where can I download the latest ISO-image for the older version of your SW? I found SaveMe-Recovery-3.0.1033.7812.ISO but no pointer to the corresponding for Rebit SW.

Thanks,
