If you bought the Multi-PC software and want to have a seperate external drive for each system, here is the process.

Connect the drive you want Rebit to backup your computer onto to the computer in question. Make sure that the drive is formatter and in NTFS. Insert the Rebit CD into the computer, and follow the installation instructions on your screen. Once it is installed, it will backup the computer. Do this on each external drive and on each computer.

Please outline the process to install Multi-PC Rebit such that each computer, up to six, has its own, separate, individual Rebit appliance. Thanks.

Our Multi-PC software is designed to give users the ability to install the software onto separate external drives. Each external drive will have the ability to backup multiple computers (up to 6 each). With this, users have the option of backing up their computers onto one large drive, onto individual drives, or any combination of this. For example, one could have 3 computers backed up to one drive and the other 3 backed up to their own individual drives.

What this really comes down to is that each Multi-PC Rebit has 6 activations on the license key, so even though you have the ability to install Rebit onto infinite drives, only six computers can be activated. Rebit will stop working on any computers that are not activated after a grace period of about 30 days.

I just purchased the multi PC software and am awaiting delivery.
Now for the dumb question:
I wish to back up two PCs. Can I use a single external HD for this or must I have separate HDs, one for each computer?
Thanks
