The most common reason for Rebit to stop backing up your computer is related to license activation. Please use the information below to determine if the license is activated.

Close any Rebit™ license activation windows or warnings that may already be open

Right-click the small Rebit™ icon in the lower right corner and select "More" -> "Activate Software"

Enter your Rebit License Key in the upper field (with dashes, and with zeros for any 0 values)

Click "Get Key" or "Get Activation Code" (if this fails, click "Cancel" and start again from Step 2 - if this continues to fail, see Note below)

Click "Activate"

Click "Close"

Restart the computer

NOTE: If licensing continues to fail, please send Rebit Support an email or photo with a screen capture of the License Activation window.

Click in the License Activation window

Ensure there is a License Key entered in the upper field

Press the key combination
Alt
+
Prt Sc
to "copy" the image

Open an Email or a document and "Paste" the image (
Ctrl
+
v
)

Email the image to Support-at-rebit-dot-com
