Can we force a backup when the computer is not idle?

I there any option to make Rebit SaveMe run a backup while the computer is NOT idle?

(Like: when troubleshooting, or when waiting for a backup to finish before travelling or before taking the backup disk to an off-site location, I don't actually want Rebit SaveMe to be some low priority background process.)

There are no options available to perform a "Backup Now" type operation.

We will consider this for a future product enhancement, however.

@Admin, that would be VERY welcome, especially as without support for multiple backup disks, one should not have it plugged in any longer than required. (Fire, theft, virus, ...)

It SEEMS in Rebit 5 this has been added, but I am not 100% this is it: on-demand recovery point creation.

Correct. We currently have the "Create Backup" option which will allow users to create a backup point whenever they want.

Does an on-demand backup run at maximum priority? (Instead of as a low priority background process? This might also be nice for the initial backup.)

Actually, the initial backup is setup to use more resources than the subsequent "catch-up" backups, so users might see a lowered performance of their PC during the cold sync. However, this is still a lengthy process due to the compression that Rebit 5 does.
