Change of Rebit Drive

    I've got 3 different external drives of 160, 500 and 1500 GB. I choose the biggest as Rebit Drive for my computer. After testing the software, I decided that I would rather use another Backup software for my computer, but would like the Rebit for backing up my Netbook and my fathers notebook. In this case, the 500 GB external drive is big enough.

    How do I change Rebit to be on my 500 GB instead of my 1500 drive? Can I simply install Rebit on the 2 notebooks and use the new 500GB-Drive? (Yes, I've got Rebit-Multi-Licence). Do I need to uninstall something? Is there any problem with the licence?

    The simplest way to regain your drive is to disconnect it, uninstall Rebit software, restart the computer, and then format the drive to remove all traces of Rebit software and data from it.

    Then, the process of introducing the replacement drive is to follow the steps at this link on How Do I Reset Rebit?

    The software licensing works out, because the license is activated relative to the computer, not the hard disk drive used for Rebit backup data.
