Configuring Volume Shadow Service

    A possible reason for the warning stating "No recovery snapshots have been created for 216 hours" is related to Volume Shadow Service. This same service may be responsible for Rebit continually copying files, possibly also slowing down the computer.

    In order to determine if the Volume Shadow Service (VSS) is configured properly and repair it if not, please select which software your have:

    Rebit SaveMe and SaveMe Express Software
    Rebit Single-PC and Multi-PC Software

    For the early 2010 Rebit SaveMe, some names and paths are different. I don't know if running the above steps is supported for SaveMe, but anyway:

    net stop RebitSvc

    should probably read:

    net stop "Rebit SaveMe Svc"

    Likewise for net start.

    And in Step 3,

    "C:\Program Files\Rebit\bin\rbvss.exe" -da

    should probably be:

    "C:\Program Files\Rebit-SaveMe\bin\rbvss.exe" -da
