I've just upgraded to the new version 5. With the older version of SaveMe Express my computer would not go to sleep with the drive connected, so each night I right-clicked the Rebit icon in the taskbar and chose the safely disconnect option. Version 5 does not have that option. I do know how to safely disconnect the drive but my question is: should I "pause" the Rebit software before doing this?

Please use the Windows Safe Eject function (USB thumb drive icon in the system tray with a green circle and white check mark). A second attempt is sometime needed.
Pausing should work fine for your purposes.
