My XP computer mother board quit working. Now have a new computer running Win 7 Professional. When I connected the Rebit to the new computer it boots but will not install so it can be used as the backup device for the new computer. This message is displayed. "The Rebit drive has PD backup files on it". "To recover backup files from this Rebit drive click Browse". It is listed in "My Computer" as drive "L". and shows 89.7 GB Free of 465 GB. Software version: 3.0.258.7905. What is required for me to use my Rebit on the new system.

The version that you have is a single-PC Rebit and is intended to backup only one PC at a time. If you already recovered the files that you need from this Rebit drive, you can follow the instructions on How do I reset Rebit to reset your backup device and get it backing up your new system.
