Have been using Version 3 for 1.5 years. Bought Version 5 Upgrade and ran installation, during which I was asked "Do you want to uninstall Rebit Single PC Now?". Clicked on Yes and then a window popped up with the following message: "System Error. Code: 1060. The specified service does not exist as an installed service." When I clicked OK installation continued and finished. I then directed Rebit Version 5 to back up in the same place Version 3 was backing up, but get the message "Not able to back up. There are no backup locations configured. Please go to Settings > Backup Locations." Perhaps these two errors are related. Wish it was easy to have Version 5 just pick up where Version 3 left off.

I didn't have any error messages upon upgrade installation but I am getting the same exact message that there are no backup locations configured. I tried removing the program and reinstaling but without success. I'm still not able to back up because the program tells me that no backup locations are configured, even though when I go to settings it shows that everything is configured properly.

@Steve Millard- It sounds like one of the Rebit services could not be removed properly through Windows uninstaller. The best thing to do would be to uninstall Rebit from control panel and after restarting the system ensure that there are not Rebit services installed on your system. If you see any there or are not sure how to check on your own, contact support.

@Erwin- If you are backing up to a USB attached drive, the easiest thing to do would be to format the drive and then reassign Rebit 5 to backup to that drive. There are several reasons it would not backup and display these symptoms, but this solution resolves all of them.
