I've been running Rebit on an 80 gb hard drive. I recently replaced it with an 120 gb hard drive. After Rebit restored to the new drive, I can now access only 80 gb of the replacement hard drive.

I removed the 80 gb drive and replaced it with the 120 gb drive. Then I recovered C: using Rebit.

I did the same thing on my laptop & was having the same problem
As Rebit has only 80gb hard drive info on it so it just copy 80gb on 120gb. The size of the hard drive change but in Rebit database it still didn't get updated. This is what i did.
After moving to new hard drive (using Rebit) I uninstall Rebit & Reset Rebit.(after reboot go to Program Files & make sure there is no Rebit folder).Go to Disk Manager (My Computer right click Manage). Allocate the drive which is not visible i.e. ~40gb in your case, format with NTFS.
Connect Rebit back & let it backup your PC again with new changed /updated hard drive info. This time Rebit will backup with your 120GB hard drive info.
