Per instructions, I completed the backup to my local external drive. It took about 2 hours. So, I click on the backup drive and see only two items: start.exe for rebit and autorun.inf. That's it nothing else. My c-drive is using 567 GB of 596 GB. Only 9 GB of my 1 TB backup driver are used. What was the software doing for two hours? I though it was supposed to backup everything that's on my c-drive - everything from important docs to apps.

That is correct. When you click on the drive like that you will see only those two files. This is not the correct way to access backup data. If you provide me with the version of your software I can be of better assistance in helping you Browse your backups.
