Multi-PC install on 2nd PC (XP SP3)- it sees data on the Rebit drive and wants to back it up before it cleans it off. That data is my PC1 Rebit data - don't want it cleaned off! Can't get past this point. (This whole process worked originally for my 2 pc's a year ago using the same Rebit drive. I reformatted the Rebit drive, stalled Rebit on PC1 OK but now ...

    How do I proceed?

Multi-PC Rebit should give you an option to install onto additional computers without having to remove the data that is already on there. Please verify that the software version is 3.0.259.XXXX and not 3.0.258.XXXX

    I have the same problem.I have multi-pc version 3.0.1035.xxxx
It's possible for 1 pc to back up on one external hard disk.
But when I back-up the 2nd pc it sees data on the drive and wants to backit up before it cleans it off. With 1 pc on the hard disk it works fine. The hard disk has place enough for both pc's.
    How do I back-up 2 pc's on 1 external hard disk.
    Thanks for the answer.

It sounds like you are trying to install using the CD. You do not need the installation CD for installing onto additional computers. Instead, plug in the Rebit drive and double-click on it in Computer/My Computer. You will then get an option to Install.
