I restored a file that I accidentally had deleted. It would only restore as I read only file, which meant I could not use it in the spreadsheet it had previously been used in, i.e. could not save it or add any data. Is there a way to recover a file as not read only.

Read Only file

There are 2 ways files are accessed on Rebit. The first is to double-click a backup file (or choose "Open" from the right-click menu) which copies the file to a temporary folder. This may yield a read-only file, as you describe above.
You may also drag-and-drop the file from the Rebit backup to the Desktop (or any other folder). Similarly, you may right-click a file icon, select "Copy" and then right-click in another folder window and select "Paste". This will yield a writable file.
Additionally, in the Rebit backup window, double-clicking on a file icon will display another layer of information showing multiple copies of a given file over time. You may drag-and-drop one of these items to a folder on your computer, and the name will reflect the date the file was backed up.
