I recently purchased a 1 TB multi PC version of Rebit Save Me. The thing that seems odd is that they drive doesn't have an active light on it like my older 500 MG drive does. Is there anyone else with this drive that can tell me if they have a light on it for the drive being active?? I can hear the drive running constantly but no light ever appears.

I have the 1 TB version, Rebit product number RSA 351000. It has a blue light on the front to indicate power on, and a green light to indicate drive read/write activity.

Thanks for the info. No one at Rebit answered that question

I should have mentioned...
The blue light is a constant blue (assuming you have power).
The green light (read/write activity) flashes on & off intermittently depending on what the drive is doing.

I can hear the drive but never see anything but the blue light on.

The green light should come on occasionally…every few seconds if you’re doing anything on your computer. It sounds like maybe Rebit isn’t backing up anything. Are you sure it is connected to your computer via the USB cable?
Do you get a notification now and then that it is has backed up your files?

It is backing up fine, it just doesn't have an active light on it. There are software issues I have posted elsewhere and am still waiting for Rebit to address but it is backing up. Just no activity light on the unit.

SMR- if you do not have a light on your unit, it is best to have our technical support team take a look at it and replace any parts as necessary. We offer a 1-year warranty on our hardware, so it would be wise to take advantage of this.
To anyone else that has a defective product; please send an email to Rebit technical support for immediate assistance with your hardware.
