I my Rebit drive is on its last legs even though I only purchased it two months ago. It performed a back up yesterday, but when I went to my computer this afternoon, the rebit icon was greyed out and it says that my rebit is disconnected. I rebooted my PC and unplugged my Rebit drive and plugged it back in, but it did not do anything. I am even unable to read the contents of the drive. My Rebit drive is also making a "girinding-whining-beeping sound" (three mechnical whines followed by mechanical beep") This sound repeats continuosly for a minute or two, stops for a minute or two and then repeats. I even tride attaching the drive to another PC, just to see if I could download the files, but the second PC failed to recognize at all as well. I am even unable to check the software version, but I know that it is a later one, b/c i downloaded the lastest version when I upgraded to Windows 7 from XP a couple of weeks ago. What should I do? Thank you, Stuart Kohn
