Rebit is backing up the backup location disk

    I installed Rebit on my new laptop. At first all goes well and Rebit is backing up the OS drive. When this is finished I check another partition but something strange is happening. Apparantly Rebit is making a backup of the disk itself where the Rebit backup is stored. So it is backing up itself and itself... the 1 TB disk gets completely full in notime

    I am having the same issue. Installed Rebit, did the initial backup, now for 2 days all it will do is backup the external hard, (drive that is the backup drive) to itself.

    Please check under Backup Drive locations and ensure that you have only t he external drive selected as a backup locations. Sometimes users accidentally configure their backup to backup onto the C: drive.

    If this is not the case, email support as they will need to see your log files and determine what is going on.
