Rebit SaveMe Express Backup Service has stopped working

    Hi everyone.

    This has happened a couple of times. There's a message that pops up that I have never seen before, ever, that states that there's a "message" that cannot be shown on the desktop. Then I click to see it and I'm taken to a completely new blank screen with another little window telling me that Rebit "license" has crashed. I click "ok", and I'm back to my desktop with the traditional Windows popup offering to check for a solution online or close the application. I still have the popup open so I can read the info, here are the first 2 lines: Problem Event Name:APPCRASH Application Name:Rebit-SaveMe-Express-Svc.exe

    If I need to provide other details I'm leaving it open.

    Apart from that Rebit's working now and making a recovery point, I just don't like to see the backup software I'm relying on to give me messages and do things I've never seen before.

    Please make sure that your Rebit software is properly activated and up to date. To activate, right-click the frog icon in the tray and select 'More' then 'Activate software.' Type in your license key and click OK. The option to activate will disappear from the More menu once it is activated and you should not be getting any more messages regarding licensing.

    Is this a 0005 error that you are getting?

    Hi RebitAdmin & Happy new year!

    Yeah it just happened again and I have some screens to proove it!

    The second to last window I get is indeed a 00000005 error. First I get the "This message cannot be displayed on this desktop", then a strange screen with "Rebit product reg." error, then back to my desktop with the 000005 message error and finally "This service has stopped working" for Rebit SaveMe Express Autoplay Handler.

    Also, this happens when the drive is not connected and is about the 4th time it has happened.
