Rebit slowly shutting down my computer

    Rebit version 3.0.258.6452

Computer is custom built with Windows XP sp 2
    BFG Nvidia 500MB video card
    4 GB of DDR2 Ram
    850 Watt Ultra Power Supply
3 internal SATA drives: 500 GB each
    2 external drives 160GB [IDE] & 500GB [SATA]
    1 750GB Rebit drive on a Kingwin eSATA EZ-Dock

Total data for backup from all drives 281GB

2 Dell monitors in dualview configuration on Startech 4 port switch

From first install of Rebit 3 days ago my Incredimail Premium email client was reset to the free version and I had to reenter the serial number after 4 years of use with no problems. Next, my Norton Internet Security software stopped running and will not open. Next, my second monitor lost its connection and the connection cannot be repaired because the KVM switch driver which manages the bottom monitor somehow became inactivated. Every time Rebit runs it closes internet explorer windows and most other programs that are open when it finishes backing up.

So it appears that Rebit is systematically shutting down my computer. I think it may be moving, corrupting, or deleting drivers when it backs up. Is the software only made for the most basic setup? I cannot install Win XP sp3 due to a conflict with work software, but this has never been a problem.
I really want the backup capability, but this has been noting but a hassle so far.
Also, don't know if this is important, but I cannot see the Rebit drive in my list of drives under MY Computer or in Powerdesk 7 Pro. Rebit keeps changing my DVD drive letters, and will not hide unused items in the system tray.
