Please contact Rebit support as they will want to see your log files.
I'm having the same problem running 1 pc and backing up to a NAS. Rebit said I would need about 50 GB. I had about 650 GB free on the NAS and Rebit grabbed it all.
- Any time I checked the status window it was always in the process of backing up. It never showed a completion.
- I tried to delete the backup from within Rebit. After 3 hrs it was still deleting and I gave up.
- I then tried to delete the backup from Windows. So far it's spent a total of some 9 hours (in two sessions) and it's still going.
- If the log file is kept with the backup, I no longer have it (because of the deletion). If it's kept with the Rebit install then I probably do.
- When I looked, the backup directory seemed extensively recursive (I never managed to get through all the levels). Doesn't seem right - probably why it's taking so long to delete.
@dnaman- If you have not already, please get in touch with Rebit support. We are trying to track down this problem asap.
RebitAdmin, I contacted support and passed along my log files.
FWIW, I uninstalled and then re-installed and it seems to be working normally this time.
We are working on a solution to this, however the reinstalling option brings up a good point: if you are experiencing this problem try reinstalling Rebit 5.
