Testing full recovery and got "System restore failed"

    I was testing a full recovery with the boot CD and got a "System restore failed" error. Everything looks like it is going to work but then fails. Could this be because I made the snapshot of the system without activating the software. I did not what to activate it because I did not want to "waste" the activation on the test.

    Try a different hard drive to restore & see...it may be a hardware issue
