I have the 1 TB multiPC drive. Using windows XP

I initially was able to install. But after Rebit ran for several minutes, I received a message "rebit is disconnected"

Then couldn't get Rebit to respond. I have uninstalled Rebit, and restarted my computer. Now Rebit shows up as I: drive, but will not install. I tried some of the other troubleshooting tips, but it says "drive not acccessible". Please help

Let's start with a disk checking utility to ensure the drive is functioning well.

    1. Open a "My Computer" window
    2. Right-click the "G:" drive icon (or whichever icon represents the Rebit external disk drive) and select "Properties"
    3. Click to select the “Tools” tab
    4. Click “Check Now…” in the “Error-checking” area
    5. Ensure “Automatically fix file system errors” is checked
    6. Click “Start”
    7. After the check finishes, click “Ok”

After the error-checking process runs the disk drive will likely be in a better condition. The Rebit software should then be able to install.

Double-click the Rebit external disk drive icon. If the software does not automatically run, double-click the "Start.exe" file icon to launch the software installation.

In the event that the software is still unable to run, please follow the steps at this link to re-install the Rebit software.
