Unable to Backup: no backup locations connected

I've just installed Rebit 5 on two computers. One computer has an external drive attached for backups. Rebit easily and successfully backs up to that drive. This drive is shared on my home LAN.

On the second PC, I select Network Share as the backup location and then the shared drive. I log in with user name and password and everything seems OK.

But, when I return the the Rebit home screen I get the error: Unable to Backup No backup locations connected.

I suspect there's a problem with the connection to the share, but it's not obvious from the interface that the drive is not connected

You should be able to backup this way, however ensure that you have the ability to write to that shared drive from the second PC. If it is read only you will not be able to backup to it.
