After a few glitches, I've been doing fairly well with version three. So I was willing to immediately buy version five when available.
But Rebit five has been creating its own problem. I installed according to direction, but Rebit insisted that it could not back up because a backup drive had not been selected. In fact, it had. This is a My Book with USB 3.0. It worked just fine with the old version of Rebit. So I reset by uninstalling Rebit and formatting My Book.
So, starting from zero, everything should have been fine. It certainly started out well. This time, Rebit saw My Book and started to back up. The problem is that it finished after just a few minutes. Now it insists " Your computer is backed up" and it is not true. The backup drive has apparently all the necessary structure for backing up. However, looking at the "Rebit drive" there's absolutely nothing there. Wrote about five GB for the structure, and it stopped right there. And yes, does see drive C:. So there sits the My Book with 926 GB sitting free.
Now what? Apparently, was not installed correctly or something.
