Norton Security keeps blocking a virus on the rebit drive. I know the location F:\rebit\data\cfs..... How do I find this file and delete it?

The interesting thing about this message from Antivirus is that the file being blocked is an identical copy of a file residing on the system hard drive. As Rebit copies the file to the external storage and prepares to rename it, antivirus may scan the file. This is known as on-access scanning.

You may find that disabling "on-access" scanning for a short time while Rebit performs the initial backup will allow the backup to complete. Then, you may want to re-enable the on-access scanning.

Another option is to allow, or un-block, the file in question. The backup file on the Rebit drive is not a threat, and only if it were restored to the computer during a full-system recovery could the file be accessed normally. Even then, the Antivirus scan of the system hard drive has allowed the file to reside without issue, right?
