Vista No Recovery Points

    Using 6PC software using a 1GB WD drive. Rebit works fine on my XP machines, but on the Vista Home Basic PC it seems to not create a recovery point. At least none are not listed when I look at Rebit for the PC. It does complete backup, but seems to take a very long time. Any thoughts?

    This description seems to be related to a problem with the "Volume Shadow Copy Service" found in Windows.

    Please refer to this article on Volume Shadow configuration, and follow the steps for "Solution 1".

    If this fails to yield Recovery Points, please contact Rebit Support for further assistance.
